
In fall of 2007, a new art fair called “AOSANDO ART FAIR” was held at the alley which connects Aoyamadori St. and Omotesando St. in Tokyo. Many creative and unique shops, boutiques, hair salons and art galleries are here on AOSANDO. They will exhibit a great diversity of young and exciting contemporary art during October 31st to November 3rd. Also, there will be a reception party with wine and food on October 30th.

“Half a Conversation” is T shirts collection by “I Love Boxie“, a T shirt company which is trying to change the face of T shirts, or at least the words on the front. They believe everyone in the world has a story, and that a line of it should be on a T shirt. It’s a revamping of the classic ‘been there, seen that, got the T shirt’ philosophy.

German illustrator Gudrun Rau is doing a show at Cafe Pause Gallery in Tokyo. It‘s called “Cut Mars Black” because most of the artwork is papercut or a mixture of papercut and pencildrawing and the colors she is using have inspiring names like yellow primrose, cobalt teal and – mars black.
