The new artworks exhibition by Chisato Shinya who is based in Sapporo will be held from October 4th to 29th at Clark Gallery + SHIFT. She is an active illustrator / artist who has produced designs for hotel interiors, book pictures, etc worldwide with motifs inspired by nature.
This exhibition is inspired by the new song of the musician “tuLaLa”(Kayo Shimokawa Solo project) who is based in Sapporo as well. The song will be released on October 4th. Her new works of using a stencil which imagined a lovely world where life sways around slowly and it crosses and goes away in the water with drafting stars, not in the night sky will be exhibited.
Using the space of the gallery, about 15 large and small pieces of objects painted with stencils on the canvas fabric with rough cuts are exhibited. You can also watch a music video of “tuLaLa”, relaxing in a small house built in the gallery.
