Day After Tomorrow Asagao Project” will be held at Tobiu Art Community in Shiraoi, which Katsuhiko Hibino has started.

This project was launched as “Day After Tomorrow Newspaper Cultural Department” by him for The Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial 2003. To promote exchange with local residents, he has been brought up morning glory with the residents as based in a closing of elementary school, then also came planted morning glory throughout Japan.

This time, participants will sow the seeds, plant and put a rope to coil at closing of elementary school. As its art community as the venue was founded in 1986 to take advantage of the elementary school, various artists have been working while piecing generations. In recent years, Tobiu Arts Festival, Camp and Tobiu Forest Development Project have been held.
