Creation Gallery G8 is holding “30 Years 30 Talks” till March 18th, including an exhibition to review the 30 years of the gallery’s history and 30 times of talk events with inviting guests. Creation Gallery G8 opened in 1985, at which time it was located in Ginza, Tokyo as a gesture to make cultural contributions to the Ginza area.

Since then, it has been introduced various creators and artworks, mainly Japanese graphic designs. This exhibition makes us turn the 30 years, which situation of the world and environment surrounding us has changed significantly, through past exhibits including posters, book designs, packages and products.

And as SNS linkage project, presenting original badges to visitors who uploaded images of the exhibition with dedicated hash tag: in Japanese only, and retweeted (or shared) articles of G8 on their SNS as following G8 account (Need to show the mobile screen at the reception/While supplies last). It must be an opportunity to think about the future of design and communication by the exhibition and the talk to know various thoughts.
