The 9th edition of the International Media Arts Biennial, Bains Numériques will be held in a city, Enghien-les-Bains in France from June 1st – 5th, 2016, and now it calling for candidates. Category of works are “Performances,” dance pieces making use of digital technologies and “Live musical performances” with visual creation.
During the biennial, lake, streets, squares, train station and exhibition halls around Enghien will be the venues. This year’s theme is “Sensitive Worlds.” The deadline to submit an artistic project is February 1st, 2016 and the five selected works will be featured during the Biennial. Then the winner will receive a prize of €5,000 and may be offered a residency at the Centre des Arts during the 2016-17 season for a project defined in conjunction with the team at the Centre des Arts.

Entry period: December 1st, 2015 – February 1st, 2016
Category of works: Performances, dance pieces making use of digital technologies/Live musical performances with visual creation
Criteria: It could be projects created and produced after September 2014, and in production and presented in premiere at the biennial, and so on.
Award: €5,000 + offered a residency at the Centre des arts during the 2016-17 season
