On June 23rd, “SVENSK MIDSOMMAR” (Swedish Midsummer) will be held at MEET. in Sapporo, with calling 2 musicians living in Sweden. It’s a real Swedish life style event through their each life.
Nordic style and Scandinavian designs are popular in Japan, but there should be some had wondered “what Swedish life is like?” For this project, talk, foods and live performance themed as “Learning from musicians living rich in Sweden, the nice way of life in Summer” will be held, as 2 parts composed of matinee and soiree . After hearing the talk about the life in Sweden, visitors could taste snacks of traditional buffet style of Sweden called Smorgasbord. And listening to live performances by a fork-percussionist representing Sweden, Petter Berndalen, and a sister and brother unit of ambient, YANÉKA while going back and forth between Japan and Europe, also enjoy the “Swedish Midsummer”.
