A biannual print magazine “HIGHWAY” has published, about music and sound culture featuring conversations as well as unpublished and commissioned contributions from relevant musicians, writers, photographers, documentarians and storytellers.

The first issue of HIGHWAY includes a candid interview with iconic photographer Glen E. Friedman as well as conversations with musician Oren Ambarchi about his collaborative efforts in Japan, sound artist Hildegard Westerkamp as well as an essay on one of Kraftwerk’s unique televised performances from 1978. And it also includes unpublished photography by Joe Dilworth, images from the Yugoslavian punk and new wave underground as well as editorial essays on the topic of “Publicity” by Ian Svenonius, Johan Kugelberg, Maria Minerva and Mathew Dryhurst.
