Osage Gallery presents an exhibition “Poetics of Materiality” curated by Charles Merewether.
One of the exhibited works will be The Wall, created by Ringo Bunoan. To the Filipino artist, pillows catch what leaks from our minds, via our mouths and eyes as we sleep. They are the sites of physical rest and rejuvenation, as well as cradles of our ideas, memories, nightmares and dreams. Each individual pillow serves as a personal archive of accumulation of sleep, or subconscious saliva; The Wall thus produced functions as a group portrait of all these interior substances.Opening reception will be held in January 4th from 17:00.
