A Journey to Touch Daily Life of Artists – Knock on Identity All over the World. “Studio Journal knock” is a visual journal to visit artists facing their “expression” in the world and spell their daily life. A graphic designer Isao Nishiyama and his partner Mami Fukamachi pursue the origins of artists’ inspiration through trips to not only their work, but the backgrounds where the art is born. Summer 2013, the western coast of America – it’s the beginning of our journey. Let’s search for “the birth place of inspiration” from the shore.
The 1st issue contains artists who live vigorously in unknown Thai-Art scenes, such as a painter living with three cats in blue share house, a photographer keep struggling to shoot a sexual taboo, a comic artist hide himself from his girlfriend maniacally obsessed with jealousy, and a successful artist looking at next stage.
Perhaps, you might happen to meet them in your country.
