This installation is both dazzling and frightening. It functions as a formally beautiful group of fragile ceramic towers. At the same time it subtly mimics the rumblings of a small earthquake. Set in contrast to one another, these two readings induce anxiety in the viewer. The shear number of plates is a breathtaking spectacle to behold.
