New Museum will showcase Silver Lion Award winner Haroon Mirza at studio 231. Mirza to employ LED lights, video, and remixed samples of music and
sounds to dissolve and reconstruct.
The live and the exhibition will be held to celebrate the 8th anniversary of LIQUIDROOM, Ebisu. He attract attention in not only as a musician but also variable collaboration works with Yokohama Triennale 2011, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, film works, exhibition, CF music, theater art, and fashion etc. In this event, Roy Tamaki will join his phil member. Shuta hasunuma phil will collaborate with “jim O’Rourke and Reddozetsurin”.
The 2012 Ars Electronica Festival, the Linz, Austria-based, world-renowned celebration of excellence in media art, opens on August 30. The theme: “The Big Picture – New Concepts for a New World.”
The contemporary artist group, Studio Azzurro creates works expressing importance of lands to which they are attached, warmth of people by using high tech medias. Studio Azzuro exhibition -KATARIBE- will be held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kawasaki City Museum, also the 30th anniversary of Azzurro.
