From November 18th, Diesel Art Gallery will exhibit the work of the UK/Bristol-born documentary photographer Beezer, who spent time with Massive Attack, Mark Stewart and Tricky in the 80’s and photographed them.
“VOICES!” will display his photographs of youth during the mid 1980’s, including unseen works. The works will be exhibited in four sections: “VOICES of Protest”, “VOICES of Music”, “VOICES of Art” and “VOICES of People”. Beezer captured the bright moment of the youth culture in his hometown of Bristol and his friends, who later became world famous musicians and artists.
The work of Beezer make us feel that people who let their voices out against poverty, discrimination, governments and authority at that time and now, is still a prime mover of time.
During the exhibition, limited edition art book and exhibited works are available for purchase as well as limited products including T-shirts and tote bags.
