Colette is held at new exhibition of photographs by David Mushegain, entitled Don’t Call it Cool. The show will feature a selection of portraits inspired by Mushegain’s ongoing fascination with youth culture. To coincide with the exhibition, Mushegain will curate installations throughout colette. The exhibition opening July 4th and goes until August 27th.
Mushegain says: As for me I guess what I can say about my own work is that I am inspired all the time by the people I meet. I love documenting and learning. My photos are really just part of a conversation that I have with the world I live in. I love individuals and its my goal in life to nurture and record the lives of the amazing people I am so blessed to meet. This series of black and white portaits of young people is especially close to my heart. I have remained close to many young artists and musicians and other creatives. This is just part of the story I want to tell about them.
