Shunsuke Tsuchida is recognized as the young sculptor who has received “The 16th Gotoh Memorial Foundation Award” and attended the overseas training in America. “Shunsuke Tsuchida Solo Exhibition” will be held at both BankART Studio NYK in Yokohama from March 16th-30th and at CAI02 in sapporo from May 7th-28th.
Shunsuke Tsuchida’s recent art works has been using distinctive materials such as artificial skin, spangled cloth and sponge all squeezed into an iron cage. The art work gives us a mysterious feeling which seems cruel and horrifying yet charming and precious. Shunsuke Tsuchida’s “funny” and intellectual approach sculpture will be exhibited at both Yokohama and Sapporo.
