Flow Festival 2010 will be organised in the historic power plant area of Helsinki’s Suvilahti on August 13–15, 2010. The festival is one of the most prestigious musical events all over Scandinavia. More than 40,000 people will enjoy with a magnificent line-up that always cares about international established and up & coming artists in pop electronica and an eye on new world music.
A blast composed by big weights such Chemical Brothers, AIR, M.I.A to Caribou, Big Boi, Jónsi, Girls, The Radio Dept. , The XX, Four Tet or Dj Harvey.

Flow is also the best opportunity to see local acts from the new recognized Finnish scene. Some good examples is Villa Nah, Uusi Fantasia or the 2 well-known Finnish artists Jori Hulkkonen back to business as Drum Man and Jimi Tenor playing with afrobeat master Tony Allen.
In addition Flow Festival became neutral carbon, last edition co-operated with the Finnish consulting agency Pöyry in calculating the event’s carbon footprint. Based on the calculations, a plan for compensating for the festival’s carbon emissions was also drafted and carried out. The calculations included the event’s carbon emissions related to Flow’s technical production, transportation, electricity, and artist travel. Flow Festival aims to achieve more ecological ways of producing the event in the future. Last edition the festival was awarded with the “Event of the year” accolade at the Finnish Music & Media expo in Tampere, Finland.
