An exhibition “Affection of idols” by Natsuki Otake will be held at the 2nd floor of DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMA, showing a new collection created for this exhibition as well as large size batik she has consistently produced.

Fascinated by the sparkle of eyes like the dazzling stars, seen in idols’ eyes and those of heroines in girls’ comics, she started to express those as an art while she was in Tama Art University where she encountered with batik, a traditional technique good in recreating brightness and chromaticness, and later gained her own way to express the girls’ fragile beauty. In this exhibition, dynamism of Natsuki Otake’s world will sate you with the work of “an idol today” drawn by a Japanese traditional art technique.
