Dan Gilsdorf’s Interiotrope is a theater of light and machines in the hidden space of hollow walls, the virtual space of digital video, and the inverted space of reflections. It breaks the rules of traditional exhibition architecture by infiltrating the gallery and December 28th, 2008 breaches surfaces which normally delineate interior space.
Interiotrope mixes computer-controlled lights, sound, and kinetic elements to create a multimedia exhibition full of wings, motors, chandeliers, and ink-elements that converge to create a unique, energetic and introspective show.
