The buzz around contemporary art fairs continues in Tokyo this weekend making it just a tad harder for galleries, artists, audiences and collectors to even take a break. The TCAF approaches the fair format by focusing on emergent artists and galleries not only in Japan but throughout Asia as well. While some may have deem traditional Japanese arts as reserved for the museum, this is the Japanese art community taking another step to recognize its future. Last year’s fair was acclaimed and this year features over 40 galleries so if you’re in Tokyo for the long weekend, this is recommended!
