Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM] presensts its 5th anniversary exhibition “minimum interface” which gives a look at communication design from the position of the interface. The exhibition starts from November 1st and continues until February 8th, 2009.
In his first London solo exhibition since 1969, Jehangir Sabavala presents 20 works, executed over the last two years, which convey the shape of the artist’s career from the early 1950s until present day, detailing his progression using past themes and new muses.
Convoluted Involvement is ABSA L’Atelier Award 2007 winner Pierre Fouché’s second solo exhibition at the Bell-Roberts Gallery, following 2006’s The Distance Between Us. The exhibition is the result of 6 months spent at the prestigious Cité Internationale des Arts as part of the L’Atelier prize. Convoluted Involvement can be viewed at the ABSA Gallery in Johannesburg from 10 – 26 September 2008, before it travels to Cape Town to be exhibited at the Bell-Roberts Gallery.

In fall of 2007, a new art fair called “AOSANDO ART FAIR” was held at the alley which connects Aoyamadori St. and Omotesando St. in Tokyo. Many creative and unique shops, boutiques, hair salons and art galleries are here on AOSANDO. They will exhibit a great diversity of young and exciting contemporary art during October 31st to November 3rd. Also, there will be a reception party with wine and food on October 30th.
