Another Geography

Another Geography

Kimihiko Okada’s exhibition “Another Geography” will be held from February 20th to May 11th at 2F DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMA, Japan.

Inspired by the multilateral image that DIESEL has, Kimihiko Okada expresses a landscape with the amazement and sense of nostalgia. His creation which is made of skin-like thin metal shows the human’s wisdom, the distant surface of the ground, or the new nature of near future we’ve never seen before. At the same time, this is also the place presenting the sense of nostalgia as if you are in caves, and awaking instincts that all the living beings originally have. The configuration creates geographical beauty, proportion, the crystal-like principals and brilliancy.
