Peter Funch : Babel Tales
Babel Tales Addendum marks both the end and beginning of the work of photographer Peter Funch. After 4 long years in the streets of New York, he brought together 41 monumental panoramics. Each one is composed of thousands of frozen moments, taken over a period of several weeks. By photographing the same exact position, Funch can superimpose images creating a fictional work, yet one that is based on documentary photography. Through repetition and juxtaposition, Babel Tales focuses on human relationships and interactions in a metropolis. November 2nd-27th. La MJC x New Balance
This is the third installment of the trilogy “La MJC for colette New Balance 1500”, the first pair appearing in 2006 and the second in 2007. The 1500 New Balance is the pair’s most iconic and recognizable, a classic running shoe that La MJC likes to revisit. This limited edition is a return to the source, with a base all in suede, a very sporty color, and a few distinctive details like this touch of premium leather on the back, giving them a more chic look. On both soles, the famous motto of La MJC “Vivre Sans Temps Mort” appears. The pair will only be available at colette and on the website Cool Cats from mid-November, in limited edition.
