NEW FACES OF MENSWEAR PART 2
Last year we launched our successful “New Faces of Menswear” initiative, aimed at supporting the young, up-and-coming menswear designers that we believe are pushing boundaries and making an impression in men’s fashion. We brought these designers to oki-ni because we are passionate about what they do, and believe it is important to offer them a platform to showcase their talent. The line up for last year was amazing – Christopher Shannon, Mr Hare, Lou Dalton, so we are really happy to continue in fine style for 2010. For me, two of highlights for this year are JW Anderson and Omar Kashoura, two incredibly exciting British designers. Look out for them arriving on the site in the next month.

THULHU HEADPHONES
I have been obsessed with these since I picked up a pair in Japan, and am really happy that we have finally got them on oki-ni. They really are the best headphones I’ve ever used – they are perfect for giving a warm, analog feel to mp3s played from portable players like ipods etc.. The quality of the audio components and cable is first-class, and unlike many headphones, they are incredibly comfortable, even when you have been wearing them for hours! Check them out here.

FRED PERRY ARCHIVE
As part of our ever-growing archive section, one of London’s biggest Fred Perry collectors has given us access to his private collection, with the aim of producing a detailed archive of Fred Perry over the last 50 years. The archive features a selection of rare Fred Perry memorabilia and customised Fred Perry shirts, and offers a unique perspective on one of Britain’s truly classic brands.

UNIFORM WARES
Another great product for this season, we are happy to introduce British brand Uniform Wares to the site. Uniform Wares produce objects and apparel intended for everyday use by individuals with an eye for meticulous design details. Their wristwatch, with its minimal design and 5 colors, is a perfect example of this philosophy. Simple, totally functional, with a great design. Each product is designed at Uniform Wares’ London headquarters.

OKI-NI x FASHION EAST PARTY AT LE BARON
oki-ni threw a party with Fashion East at Paris club Le Baron during fashion week, with music provided by oki-ni and Bad Passion Project. It ended up being a really great party.. With over 550 people rsvping, the venue was busy all night with a permanent queue outside and the dance floor was full from beginning to end. Thanks to the guys at Le Baron for their hospitality, and to everyone who came down and partied until the early hours!
