New Faces of Menswear
Over the course of the next few weeks, we’ll be launching a selection of new/young menswear designers on the site, starting with Hederus and following up with Martine Rose, Christopher Shannon, Satyen Kumar, Odeur, Lou Dalton and Kling by Kling (straight from her recent debut at S.L.A.T.E) to name but a few. We’ve bought these brands because we believe in what they’re offering. Their collections stand up to those produced by more established designers but at the present time we feel that nobody in the industry is giving them the platform they deserve to showcase their talent. We’ve interviewed each designer about their experience in the industry so far – you can check it out alongside our archives feature here.

Crue-l Records
As part of our ever-expanding music selection, we are really excited to be working with Kenji Takimi’s legendary label Crue-l Records. The current Crue-l roster is an excellent cross-section of what’s going on in the Japanese underground right now – from the Cosmic vibes of Discossession to experimental indie 2-piece girl band Stoned Green Apples, Kenji Takimi’s vision has made sure that the label continues to keep its finger on the pulse, 18 years after inception. Sadly, a lack of distribution outside of Japan has meant that getting hold of Crue-l releases has been difficult for a few years now. We are happy to be doing our bit to change this by providing a home outside of Japan for this legendary label! Kenji is also one of our favourite DJs, and joined us for our recent boat party at Croatian festival Electric Elephant.

Damir Doma
We caught up with Damir Doma on a recent trip to Paris, and were lucky enough to catch a preview of the s/s10 collection. Viewing it confirmed out beliefs that Damir Doma is one of the most promising talents out there – for s/s10 he delivers a very pure collection with the depth, vision and direction of a very mature designer. For 27 years old, Damir is something very special. Look out for the a/w 2009 collection at oki-ni over the next few months.

Nike-archive
For the lates installment of our Archives feature, we’ve teamed up with one of the founding member of Crooked Tongues and top London sneaker collector to produce an 80-piece Nike Archive. The concept of the Archives section is to give people who visit our site the chance to find out more about the brands that we stock. The Nike Archive showcases a range of rare and unusual pieces, and is a great addition to the Raf Simons and Levis Archives that we produced earlier this year.
