I started my book collection when I was 15. My old nickname was “creaker”.
No matter how much I collect, I don’t feel right. It is miles away from perfection. Information, pictures, drawings and graphics which were deleted from the internet now survive only on those printings.

Look at the texture of the printings. monitors tuck everything in a flat surface, but books have a rough texture and smell. Blinding bright printing and aged degradation are also beautiful.
