Jon Burgerman has become known for his sometimes cute, occasionally scratchy and intermittently odd artwork. Working across a variety of media that includes painting, printmaking and computer animations, he has created a vast collection of strange creatures and amusing characters to inhabit his peculiar world of art. Cynicism and confusion often tie his work together, building up a wider project linking together both commercial endeavours and artistic ambitions.
Jon Burgerman's work has been published in various forms. These range from LP covers for Charles Webster and Winding Road Records to tee shirts, mobile phone animations and posters for Levis. His work has also featured in a diverse range of magazines and books which includes The Guardian, Dazed and Confused, Sleazenation, Pictoplasma, Computer Arts, Faesthetic Magazine and This Is A Magazine.
