NTT ICC OPEN SPACE

By experiencing various types of works throughout the exhibition, one notices that these technology-oriented art objects are only another form of what we might be unconsciously using in our everyday life.

Thus, it’s easy to assume the possibility of applying them in other areas. Imagining these objects converted into products with useful functions for daily living makes the exhibition all the more interesting. This exhibition will lead to the development of ideas and visions for the future.

Since the time when the “media art” as a term was foreign to most people, ICC has focused on leading-edge technology and art by contributing to various experiments. What is the role of the communication center where essential technology, art, and people can interact? What is the intellectual journey through the experiences in a place like ICC going to be like? The answers to those questions are reflected in the renewal of ICC, and I am looking forward to its effect in the years to come.
