A London based company working with contemporary artists and with forward thinking brands “POCKO PEOPLE” welcomed three new artists to their roster of cutting-edge international artists.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2002, Maja has worked with clients such as Stussy, MTV, Snickers and Levis. The diversity of Maja’s work has also found resonance in animation work for Sveriges Television, motion graphics for the film Hip Hip Hora, design and curation of Extra Ordinary an exhibition in Stockholm of 20 international artists and designers and film poster for Vanya Vet. Maja’s work is featured in several publications including “Graphics Alive”, Victionary publishing, and “Hand to Eye”, Laurence King publishing.
Pocko snapped up Matthew after seeing his darkly humourous and beautifully drawn illustrations in a weekend supplement. Now working full time as a freelance illustrator, clients who’ve worked with Matthew include Virgin Atlantic, Grand Central Records, VW, Rouse, Cake Media, and The Guardian. Recently graduated from Brighton University, Alice is already in demand and has notched up commissions from Saturday Telegraph Magazine, Transworld Publishers and Random House. Alice’s inspiration comes from old medical manuals and the natural world, her work has a unique style and beautiful sense of colour and form. More work can be viewed at her website.
