For the magazine which established itself last year, this is a brilliant way of introducing itself and its values, to a whole new readership. A great piece of marketing. In addition, visitors to 60daysofspace receive a free pair of New Balance trainers if they take out a year’s subscription to the magazine. Not bad. The shop also produces its own black&white printed magazine per each city, with a circulation of only 20,000.

“This gives us a place to introduce local artists and give them somewhere to express themselves. We distribute the magazines in various select locations to generate word-of-mouth interest in the shops. Plus each city has it’s own vibe so each new guerilla store and magazine enjoy a completely different look and feel reflecting the local talent”.

The Den Haag 60daysofspace will be hosting events both during the day and night, right up to the end of December so do try and check it out. With Rotterdam and Den Haag both great successes, the next stops are Arnhem and Amsterdam next year, so this could be your last opportunity to check out some new talent and land those elusive, extra special Christmas presents…
